Brunswick NYM employees rewarded for efforts
Eligible employees at Brunswick Boat Group's New York Mills production facility, home of Crestliner and Lund Boats, recently enjoyed some end-of-the-year profit sharing thanks to their efforts and accomplishments for 2016.
Just before leaving on winter break, New York Mills employees received an average payment of $875 each for meeting or exceeding some ambitious productivity and cost-savings goals for 2016. Since last January, employee performance and progress toward achieving these measures was gauged on a quarterly basis.
Meeting these goals helped both Lund and Crestliner boat brands manufactured at the plant improve competitiveness in the marketplace by helping to grow the business and allowing for re-investment back into operations.
"Our employees worked extremely hard to obtain the goals we set for the year. We are very proud of their commitment to make this facility and the boats we produce both first-class," Brian Hines, vice president of operations for the facility, said.
