Toxic Taters protesters lined busy Highway 10 in front of McDonald's Tuesday afternoon in Wadena with signs that carry their messages about the dangers of pesticides in the potato industry. The coalition's National Day of Action saw protests in several area communities. They are asking corporate farms like RDO to curb their use of pesticides significantly. According to Wadena protestor Diane Webb, RDO is the largest supplier of potato products to McDonald's restaurants in the world.
